In an intersting article published this week in the New York Times, the scientific journalist Nicholas Wade informs on the recent theory that, due to human technology, nature has been restricred from effecting evolution through the usual restrictions such as Pandemics, Famine or Climate, and has allowed other forces to come into action for the evolution of humanity: its Culture.
